The penultimate round of the Macau League has reserved a hard-hitting opponent for CPK in the last three years. A bitter 1×1 tie buried the last mathematical chances of reaching the League title. The opponent practically played the entire game in defense, and the first half ended 0x0 with CPK losing countless chances. In the second half, the opponent scored at minute 59, in its only sharp attack during the entire match. CPK continued to press for a better result. At last, in the 90th minute, Cheong Kin Chong scored the equalizer. Final Score: 1×1 (see the summary).
Sadly, the fairy tale of being champion finished, but the goal to reach in the top three was achieved. However, this season has shown that to go up one more step, CPK will have to change, because in order to get a different result, you have to do something different.
